the water babies

wpid-20150520_104251.jpgimage image image image It’s been hot and dusty here in Antigua. And sometimes the wind is high but it’s still no relief. M says we need a hurricane. But I hate to agree with him. I can’t deal with the ensuing destruction and blackouts. Some nice all night into the day thunderstorms would be lovely. Because right now when it does rain, it’s just a teaser, it sounds great, it feels like bliss but it’s gone too soon. We need enough rain for it to be mucky and for this drought to just go away. Until then and after, the beach is where it’s at. The temperature is perfection and the clarity is impeccable. And even though you don’t take sand to the beach, when the day is over, you’ll surely take it home.

From my sandy bottom to yours,

Ginny
