There are many, tiny jolts running beneath me, a humming so rhythmic, it is comforting and I am at peace. I’m also moving again. There’s a different calm in standing still, it allows me to observe, look outward and truly savour all that passes by. In contrast, I look inward not only but better once I’m moving. I pass the world and it passes me and we’re both in revolution. We need to move and we must also stand still, looking out and looking in. It is the means by which we know the world and by which we know ourselves. It is the balance of finding peace.
